Here’s a little bit about me, my background, and my journey as an artist. I am originally from Indiana, Pennsylvania (yes, I know what you’re thinking, it’s the name of a state. But it’s also a small town in rural Appalachia about an hour from Pittsburgh), and I consider my small town upbringing to be a large part of what made me who I am today.
In addition to my Appalachian background, my French and Hispanic heritage is an important part of my identity. My father is a French immigrant, and he made a point of raising me bilingual and with lots of French cultural influence. I am a dual citizen of France and the United States, and my family even spent over a year living in France when I was a small child. In addition to my Frenchness, I grew up with Hispanic influence (primarily in the form of my mom’s incredible cooking) from the other side of my family.

Throughout middle school and high school, I struggled with my mental health and turned to theater as a way to cope with mental illness. Creating theater saved my life, and I quickly realized that this is what I wanted to do with the rest of it. Since then, my goal has been to create art that makes others feel seen and heard in the same way that theater did for me when I needed it to.
After high school, I studied musical theater at Ohio University (BFA Class of 2024) in Athens, Ohio. I graduated as part of the Ohio Honors Program with my BFA in Musical Theater and my Certificate in Actor-Musicianship. Over my four years of college, I not only studied and honed the skills of acting, singing, and dancing, but I also branched out into playwriting, directing, choreography, standup comedy, dramaturgy, and actor-musicianship. Now I live in New York City, where I continue to act, write, direct, and do stand-up!
